We are seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving Associate for our Hauppauge, NY distribution warehouse.
Duties:
- Pick, pack, and ship orders
- Receiving and stocking inventory
- Receiving and logging other shipments, including customer returns
- Participate in inventory counting as needed
- Accurate labeling of products as needed by specific customers
- Stacking and breaking down skids
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Maintaining clean, organized warehouse space
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience a plus
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift a plus
- Ability to lift/move boxes 35 pounds (regularly) to 50 pounds (rarely)
- Ability to stand, lift, and walk for long periods of time.
- Basic Microsoft Windows knowledge/ability
- Experience with UPS and FedEx software a plus
